On May 31^st , the establishment ceremony of China Logistics Group Science & Technology Research Institute (hereinafter Research Institute) was held in Beijing.

Mr.Yi Xuedong, Dean of the Research Center of SASAC, and Mr. Li Hongfeng, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Logistics Group, took part and unveiled the plaque.

Mr. He Dengcai, Vice President of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, delivered a speech.

Mr. Xu Zengtang, Member of the Standing Committee and Vice General Manager, delivered a speech on behalf of China Logistics Group. Mr. Xing Jidong, the interim Party Secretary and Executive Director, made a statement.

Mr. Huang Jihai, Member of the Party Committee of the Research Center of SASAC, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Think-tank of Central State-Owned Enterprise; Mr. Liu Jun, President of Beijing Wuzi University; Mr. Zhang Xufeng, Vice President of Beijing Wuzi University, as well as Mr. Zhao Peng, Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University, attended the ceremony. 

Others attended were: members of the leadership and senior managers that are in Beijing, person-in-charge of the headquarter departments and supporting centers, person-in-charge of the subordinate companies and of the science & technology research work.

Moving forward, the Research Institute will firmly bear in mind the mission and responsibility entrusted by the Group company, and further implement the strategic planning of the 14^thFive-Year Plan, as well as the innovation-driven strategy. 

The Research Institute is dedicated to enhancing deep-learning and research abilities, to becoming more open-minded and down-to-earth with both internal and external brains. It’s committed to building itself a high-end think-tank and the cradle of original technology in logistics industry with global influence, promoting the construction of science & technology system of the Group company, as well as the core competiveness and core functions of it.Thus, the Research Institute is expected to make contributions to building the Group company a world-class integrated modern logistics company with global competitiveness.
