On Jun.15th ,China Logistics Group has held seminar on the layout of international business, discussing in-depth the international market and the state of competition, planning the development direction of international business, discussing concrete strategy of layout and path of implementation. Li Hongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman, attended the seminar and made remarks. Liao Jiasheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, presided over the seminar.
Five subsidiaries, namely China Railway Materials Corporation Ltd., China Materials Storage & Transport Co., Ltd. , CTS International Logistics Corporation Ltd., China Logistics Co., Ltd. and China Railway Materials International Co., Ltd, have exchanged their opinions. Li Xiangyang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, has shared his thought on the layout of international business. Outside Directors, Members of the Leadership and Senior Managers have also discussed and made exchanges on the layout and development of international business.
Li Hongfeng stressed that breaking new ground for international business is the strong support for building a world-class logistics company with global competitiveness.
Firstly, we should attach great importance to top-design, making clear the development direction by learning from the first class companies, compiling well the international development strategy.
Secondly, we should build platforms of international business, building an internationalized company with functions of information collection, resource gathering, coordination, construction and investment.
Thirdly, we should promote orderly coordination, sorting out existing resources,laying a solid foundation for the strategy coordination of international businesses.
Fourthly, we should highlight what is important, building bridgeheads of international business and planning well the layout, connecting internal market to the external one.
Fifth, we should adopt international rules, introducing international talents in multiple ways and nurturing talents from within, enhancing support for the network of international business.
Sixth, we should grasp the direction of international strategy and the pace of development, exploring internationalized mode of management and control through continuous innovation of mechanism.
Seventh, we should follow the leadership of the Party and strengthen Party construction, building a corporate culture featuring inclusiveness, openness, a community of sharing weal and woe, seeking development in unity.
